Heavy-Duty Sealed Connectors with MATEnet Inserts

TE Connectivity’s (TE) heavy-duty sealed connector series with MATEnet inserts leverages the high performance of MATEnet terminals and the rugged reliability and scalability of heavy-duty sealed connector series housings to enable Ethernet connectivity up to 1 Gb on chassis applications in heavy-duty commercial vehicles. These products are designed to be modular and highly adaptive to meet the specific needs of each customer. Unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable and shielded twisted pair (STP) cable can be used within the same connection system. They support 100 Mb through 1 Gb speeds and are compliant with industry-standard protocol IEEE802.3bp, 100BASE-T1, and 1000BASE-T1. This solution provides hybrid connections for Ethernet and power, expanding the usage possibilities.
